christine meintjes {workshop}

In June I had the privilege of attending a Christine Meintjes photography workshop at the stunning Landtscap in Stellenbosch. The company I work for sponsored much of the cost, which blew me away. The whole thing was a dream-come-true, because Christine is my absolute favourite photographer, and I have followed her work for years. I just love her sharing and caring attitude to other photographers, and of course she is super talented! I also met her husband Iaan, a successful and talented entrepreneur. On this small, intimate workshop I chatted with other photographers from around SA, and we are all still in contact.

On the first day Christine did an engagement shoot with a sweet couple (see the pics HERE). We were able to snap away behind her, learning from her as we went. Below are a couple of my snaps from the day:

a quick {save the date}

A few weeks ago I did a fun sunset Save the Date shoot with my lovely friends: Matt & Christy. We took the photos in their future home, using a vintage trunk they bought in the Midlands. I love how awesome these two are together. Looking forward to the 3rd of May guys!

At last I have time to blog again! Thanks to the followers who stuck out the long break. ;)

Garth and Christine are the most lovely and in-love couple from Pietermaritzburg.. I had such fun on this day. Each item that Christine bought for the engagement shoot has a special significance in their relationship. You guys made my job easy, and I had a hard time choosing my favourite shots for the blog - here they are, I hope you like them! Congratulations you two; I pray your wedding is the best day of your lives.

CT 2011 #8 {franschhoek + terbodore}

After our adventures in Stellenbosch we drove to Franschhoek, because I was doing a shoot for Terbodore Coffee Roastery (there's a branch in the Midlands - awarded KZN Midlands Cappuccino of the Year - so it's good coffee!). The new Terbodore website is coming soon - I'll be sure to post the link once it's live. This was my first time in Franschhoek and I was blown away by how beautiful it is. My friends came in for the shoot, and were great models for me ;) Thanks to Mike from Terbodore for the afternoon of fantastic coffee and cakes, and for choosing such a great location for the Franschhoek branch! Our short time there was definitely a highlight.

This post features Manuella with her friends and family just before her Matric Ball at Grace College. The photos were taken at the Hilton Protea Hotel. All the girls were so lovely in their dresses, parents were beaming and the guys were looking suave. Manuella, it was great to meet you and I had lots of fun - these are a few of my favourites :)
