What Cape Town trip is complete without a visit to this market? ;) We had one Saturday in Cape Town.. and yes we did spend the morning there. Even though it was a freezing cold day, there was still such a vibe, and delicious food for sale everywhere. Biscuit mill, you biscuit.

This was definitely a highlight of the trip! We were blessed with a perfect cloudless day for the cable car. The last time I 'd been up was when I was 10 years old, so I was really looking forward to this. We were not disappointed - the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. We live in a beautiful country.

CT 2011 #2 {kalk bay}

Day 3 of the Cape Town trip - a train ride to Kalk Bay. We had an adventurous time with the train: on the way there the power failed so we were stuck for a while, and on the way back a young boy was arrested in front of us for stealing cellphones from the next door carriage (he had passed them on to a gang in our carriage). Scary times!  Kalk Bay was pretty as usual.. despite the freezing wind that kept us indoors as much as possible:) We enjoyed a delicious lunch at Olympia Cafe and then browsed the lovely shops.

CT 2011 #1 {camps bay}

I flew to Cape Town recently for ten days of much needed holiday, along with four of my friends. Our time there ended with the AMAZING Coldplay show at Green Point stadium. Here are a few photos from the beginning of the trip. I'll be posting more soon :)
