Ben and Leah are high school sweethearts, and good friends from my hometown of Hilton. The wedding was held at my old school, St Anne's Diocesan College. Needless to say, this was a special one. Despite almost being blown away during the bridal party shoot (well done guys for braving the icy wind) - the joy at this wedding was contagious, and the couple's inspiring story touched many hearts that night. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Mauck :)

a quick {save the date}

A few weeks ago I did a fun sunset Save the Date shoot with my lovely friends: Matt & Christy. We took the photos in their future home, using a vintage trunk they bought in the Midlands. I love how awesome these two are together. Looking forward to the 3rd of May guys!

Two of my long standing, dear friends got married at my old school on Saturday. Here is a sneek peak of the photos :)

mike & dena

I just love these two. Mike and Dena are an incredible couple who I've had the privilege to get to know over the past 18 months. They also happen to be lots of fun and very creative, so I enjoyed some artistic freedom with the photos :) Mike is a very talented designer (check out his work HERE) and makes beautiful wooden art - so I used a few of his pieces in the preparation shots. He also made the stunning canopy under which they got married. Mike and Dena - thanks for being such great friends as well as such a good looking bridal couple! I think this is my longest post to date so be prepared to SCROLL ;) The ceremony and reception picnic were held at the Botanical Gardens Amphitheatre in Durban.
